Growth (Part 1): Attention Men! (10/05/2026)

If you identify as a man, then I am speaking directly at you!

We need to do better. It is time to start paying attention and act accordingly to the status of men. We need to teach our boys to do, say and be better. We are in this as a group and we need to act and correct corrosive behaviors that continue to diminish our status as Men.

How do we construct behaviors that help our boys to be better men?

1) Respect Women and Respect Yourself.
There is never a need to place your hands on a woman in a negative way. It doesn't matter what she said or did, we as men need to hold our composure and not lash out in a physical manner unless she is trying to kill you. Find ways to turn your anger into something other than a physical thrashing and using her as your punching bag. Write a expressive poem or story. Workout, create a piece of art or take a cold shower. Find a way to express your anger in ways that does not hurt a woman.

You hit a woman then your respect for her and yourself is gone. You are hurting too many people and your status as a man is heavily questioned.

Calling her names if you don't get what you want is childish. Just because she said no or responded in a way that you don't like, doesn't mean you have the right to insinuate anything. It is time to grow as a man.

2) Unconscious = NO CONSENT
You should know "No means No!" but you should also know that if a woman is unconscious, then consent is an automatic NO. You should have an understanding that if you take advantage, then you are a rapist. There is no grey area here. You as a man should be doing what you can to prevent any further nonconsensual unconscious activity even if that means you end up getting hurt/injured due to defending the unconscious.

Lose your status as a man and gain the title of "Rapist" or add value to our overall status by doing what is right.

Let's start with these two rules for now as we build upon what Men should be. Respect women and yourself by reprogramming yourself to do, say and be better.

For homework, start with these next two questions. Ask your friends and family and let's start a conversation.

Question 1: What is the definition of what it means to be a man?
Question 2: What is the definition of masculinity?

Think about each question and see if you can come up with two definitions. Throw away the old definitions of alpha male, etc. as these types or labels are old school self-assessed containers. We are more fluid than static categorization.

These words that I have put together over the last several days feels to me that these are no-brainer rules to follow. These concepts are so basic that I realized that some "Men" do not understand respect for others.

Please start a new conversation and keep it going to help our boys become Men.

Men helping boys become men

Hatred leaves no room for creativity and growth.
