The Game (02/18/2026)

I’ve had a collection of cybersecurity questions as I created a general quiz in the past that people could try and see how well they know cybersecurity. I took the quiz offline a while ago but recently resurrected the idea into a cybersecurity game called: The Game.

The concept is simple; you awaken to find yourself in an empty room with only a ceiling light and a computer kiosk embedded into the wall. Upon looking at the screen, you see 5 of your friends and family have been taken and held hostage in separate similar rooms. A cybersecurity question is on the screen, and you have 4 options to choose from. Get the question wrong and harm will come to your friends and family. Can everyone make it out alive if you answer enough questions correctly?

There are a few quirks to work out as the game was created 72 hours ago (2/15/26) but the main functionality has been created and works great. I just need to lock it down a bit better from manipulation and add more questions to help with repetitiveness. The storyline will be expanded as well.

There is an ending timeout, so if your character and their friends and family dies, you will need to wait a few hours to try again. I might remove this feature but for now, it stays. I don’t expect this game to be very popular as it is a cybersecurity game, but who knows? Maybe someone will want to turn it into a cheap horror movie? I don't know!

How good are you at cybersecurity?
